Eyelash Perm and Eyelash Lift both enhance the curvature of the natural lashes and promote an effect that makes these procedures an alternative to Lash Extensions.
If both treatments deliver similar results, what's the difference between them?
The lash perming makes the lashes semi-permanently curled for weeks. This is achieved by wrapping the lashes around a cylindrical rod and adding perming solutions to curl the lashes. The lash perm is best suited to women with long eyelashes or women with wide or open eyes. This creates beautiful lash curls but often the client’s feel that their lashes appear short as this doesn’t lift the lash.
While perming the lash actually curls the lashes, the lash lift works differently by lifting the lashes up from the base. By doing this the eyes are opened up, and the appearance of longer lashes is achieved all without the need for extensions! Where as both methods use the same chemical solutions to perm the lashes, the lash lift uses specifically created shield to lift the lashes from the base instead of the cylindrical rods that curls the lashes all along its length.
